The Challenge
A dated 2005 primary bathroom with a prefab shower, builder-grade tile, and a layout that wasted square footage. The clients wanted a sanctuary — spa-caliber but not fussy.
Our Approach
We reconfigured the layout to allow for a freestanding soaking tub under the skylight — a request the client thought would be impossible. The shower was expanded to a full wet room with Zellige wall tile and a linear drain. Warm terrazzo flooring, a custom floating vanity in greige oak, and unlacquered brass fixtures completed the picture.
The Result
The clients said the bathroom alone changed how they experience being home. The skylight-over-tub moment is exactly what they asked for, and budget came in just under target.
